I met Sara at Blossom Festival 2019. She had a booth set up at the craft fair and I saw the flattened wine bottles. I have slumped enough to know that all it takes is a kiln, but people find them fascinating which is sort of irritating, when other glass work takes skill and precision and effort. I wandered over to the booth to see much the bottles were going for, because mostly people expect me to do
it for free. I struck up a conversation with Sara and realized that she was a super friendly person and I saw with my own eyes how much talent was on display at the tent.
